In the Frasassi Caves at 50000 ISO

The "red path" in the Frasassi Caves, in the Marche region. The most challenging amongst the speleological paths into the largest cave system of the world. Twenty people and two guides, among giant stalactites and stalagmites, two hours at 700 meters underground, with passages into narrow passageways and rocks overhanging underground streams.
A unique experience captured with the new Nikon D3 at 50000 ISO, free-hand, with no extra lighting than the torch on the helmet to tell the powerful emotions from the darkest place on the earth.
